Rising 7th-10th graders can double their fun and excitement by staying two weeks! With unique programming that includes additional activities, Mountaineers is not just a few more days at camp—it’s a fantastic time for growth in relationships, knowledge, and your camper’s walk with God.

While the Mountaineer program is much more challenging and extreme than our one-week programs, they shoot arrows at archery, take a ride on the zip line, and conquer the high ropes course among other great activities. They will also get to participate in camp favorites—Pool Olympics, Adventure Ball, and Commando!

Two of our highly-trained counselors will lead each cabin in activities, devotions, and Bible studies. As with all other camp programs, there will be a primary emphasis on spiritual growth. More time at camp means more time for life change!

What do Mountaineers get to experience that is different than Explorers?

Staying for a second week opens a new level of challenge to camp. Mountaineers will get to experience 3 nights camping out over the 2 week period at Cedar Cliff which includes learning new wilderness skills as well as rappelling off our own Cedar Cliff! They’ll also explore a nearby private lake with stand-up paddleboards and a rope swing. It’s not just another week, it’s another experience.
