By now you have probably seen the devastation that has hit Western North Carolina. We have had so many of you reach out to see if camp is okay and if our team is safe. Our entire staff is safe and has already begun cleanup efforts and repairs on property. We had several hundred trees down across our roads and trails, but only one cabin was damaged. Praise God!
To say Helene was devastating for our community is truly an understatement. Our hearts hurt for Asheville and the towns surrounding that have been drastically affected.
We have been praying for a way to be of use to our city and as of this past Saturday we began hosting 200 Duke Energy linemen and vegetation crews. We’re serving them meals and providing lodging every day while they work in our community to get the Asheville area out of the dark.
- Fall Festival
- Remaining Adventure Club dates
- Jeep Trail Ride Fundraisers
- Father Son Retreat
To our local camp families, we have been in prayer for you each morning as our team gathers and are hopeful we can be together again soon.
Sincerely,
The Camp Cedar Cliff Staff
